Teach your children well! I came in here because I saw a picture of some mac & cheese with shrimp on Google. The guy that met me was very nice. I ordered the Rasta shrimp mac & cheese, then went to use the bathroom. When I came back, I was reading some of the articles on the wall. There was a young guy in the kitchen, looked like a teenager, who started talking to me. He wasn’t just being nice, he actually knew how to talk to people. These days, it seems like the younger generation doesn’t know how to hold a conversation, this guy had no problem. It is refreshing to meet a young man like this, gives me hope. I would come back just to interact with these people but let’s talk about the food. The Mac-n-cheese was topped with shrimp, onions, peppers and spices. The spice was perfect, a good amount of heat and flavor. The shrimp were cooked exactly right, not overdone. The Mac-n-cheese was creamy and tasty. The shrimp wasn’t just on the top, it was mixed throughout. I almost cried at how good this was.

A really unique burger place. The chef comes up with special and they are so unique. I got a burger with sourdough bread as the buns and it was delicious. He also makes his own lemonade and it's so delicious. I will definitely go again the next time I'm in Chesapeake.

Can't remember who told me about this spot, but i knew i was gonna check them out, i was at in the area today and decided to check them out. i was gonna try a burger. i was greeted as soon as i entered, which was very appreiciated because alot of places don't and i have left resturants just for that reason before. i let the lady know that it was my first time there and she let me know everything i needed to know. Its nice place not big but not too small. they serve burgers, hotdogs, wings, eggrolls sandwichs (chicken crab, turkey) salads, and sides. i ended up ordering a burger w/bacon and fries with drink. while i was waiting to my surprise they let try a jerk chicken eggroll, woooo that was good stuffed with chicken crisp crunch well seasined. really enjoyed it, thank u again. the burger was fresh big fresh and fries were good too. they care about the food they are serving customers and it shows, Good food good service good people. i will defintely be back

Saw what this restaurant on tiktok and since we had a beach vacation planned I knew we had to try it! This place did not disappoint not only was customer service great they make you feel like family! My little boy LOVED Ms.Tonya! We also got a pic with the owner herself! The food was absolutely to die for and trust me we tried a bit of everything! Definitely will be coming back next time we’re in town!

This was my first time in J&K and I will be back! To start I was greeted warmly by everyone behind the counter. Looking at the menu board sand specials I didn’t know where to start. I was asked if this was my first time and when I said yes Chef Kev stepped in and gave me the rundown of the specials, the favorites, and the rest of the menu. This place has something for everyone. I got the sampler platter and 3 collard stuffed wings! Yes you read that correctly! Every item I tried was delicious! It was well cooked and seasoned perfectly. They also have homemade desserts and several varieties of homemade lemonades. Whether you want burgers, dogs, chicken, fish, steak, or vegetarian options they got it! The staff was AWESOME! So glad I went to J&K and you will to!!

There are not enough words to describe how good this food is yall. First time here for me and my wife and everything is amazing. We shared a sampler, crab cake sandwich, tropical and mango raspberry lemonade and topped it off with a banana pudding cake. All I can say is Mmmmmmm Mmmmmmm Good!! We will definitely be back! The food is always good and unique flavors, friendly staff and owner and food doesn't take long to be done. This restaurant will always be a favorite of mine and highly suggested. I had the wing sampler came with 6 boneless, 6 traditional and an egg roll ( jerk chicken ).
